Conversations with Trees

What are trees asking the clouds?

                       What are trees asking us?

Since childhood I have found myself having conversations with trees. Sometimes these conversations are with words and sometimes without. Now scientists tell us mature trees are able to communicate with each other.  They exchange nutrients with those in need and warn of problems they are experiencing.

Trees are one of the world's most lovely and diverse creations. Their roots go deep into the ground. Their branches go far into the sky.  I love their strength and grace.  And I am thankful for the many gifts they have given us since humans first appeared on this earth. But unlike us, they can't pick up and move themselves to a different location to escape a problem.

I would love to listen in on their conversations with each other.  And if they are having conversations with the sky and clouds, what questions are they asking each other?  And what questions are they asking about us?
